We had our MSL gathering again on Fri... Althot not much pple, but we are still enjoying our food, n get 2 see those tat we haven meet up for long peeps... 2 bad some of them had to work late, there4 not able to make it...

D&D 2008

22th Aug 08 is Ciba Vision Teambuilding cum D&D... Morning we went to Fort Canning Hill for our Teambuilding and D&D was at Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel... Had been there for buffet lunch n dinner, but had nvr try out de Dinner for such event... Lucky it turns out tat de food was quite nice n de ambience was good 2... Every1 was happy n excited, we oso took alot of photos!!!

De host 4 de event was oso veri good @ keeping us high n enjoyable, plus every1 was veri participative in de games... De performance was oso great n funny! We oso went into de dance floor b4 n aft de lucky draw... I was sweating like hell, but was enjoying de music n dances wif my colleagues... Every1 in de dance flr was so high, screaming, shouting, dancing n singing... De whole atmosphere was awesome...

Up 2 my surprise, I got 1st prize 4 de lucky draw... When i was called up, i had nvr thot tat i will get 1st, but i really got it... I oso got 2 shake hands wif my GM... Haha!!! After de lucky draw, we starts our dancing again... Level of excitment was HIGH!!!

5th July 2008

5th of July... A day where I need to rem 4ever... Tis is de day I bcm another people impt person, His wife... Haha!!! Hav been busy for de past half year on our love nest renovation + 1mth of preparation for our ROM day...

We had our solemnisation carried out @ Stardus Clubhouse at 1pm... I had my tea-dress bought @ Empire, recommended by my superior... Its quite a good bargain, as it comes in a package with tea-dress n shoe (own) + makeup @ ur convenient place, @ de price of $399...

A briefing had 2 been done, b4 de whole ceremony starts...

De ceremony had started, vows n promises had been made. Signature had to be signed. Aft which, we are announced as "Mr n Mrs Puar"...

After de ceremony, we had our photo-taking sessions wif all families n friends who had attended our solemnisation.

De whole ceremony starts at 115pm sharp on tat day, I had found Andy Lim as my MC n Myint wai as photographer to take alot of veri good angle shots. Thanks to both of them... Besides tat, aft de ceremony, there is oso lunch buffet 4 every1 who are present.

Journey to Korea 2007

My Memorable trip at Korea was awesome. A 8days 6nite at end of Oct to Jeju n Seoul was fun, exploring and enjoyable moments. The whole trip was not ex 2, ard $1500 for so many days. Moreover, we are gg in 4s. No matter how, we still earned it cos more people, more merrier.

The 1st meal in Korea!!!

This is wat they called the "Dolsot Bibimbap", also known as "stone rice" in korean. There are meat, egg, seaweed & alot of vege inside tis hot crock. To eat, mix the ingredients 2gether then eat with a spoon. If u wan it 2 b spicy, u can add in their special chilli sauce n mix 2gether. At de bottom of the crock, there is tis "nudungji", which we called is "Guo Ba". Its crispy n abit burn, but is tasted veri unique. Have a chance, we will hav 2 try it out.

Shopping at Dongdaemum

This was known as one of korea largest shopping mall, called the Dongdaemum. Alot of clothes, shoes n accessories can b found here. There are also roadside food for u to buy. Its oso not ver ex, onli abt 1000won.

Next stop! Jeju Island...

After tis 1hr++ shopping, we r on our way 2 their airport, to take a 45min flight 2 Jeju Island. De plane was small, but lucky was onli a short journey frm Seoul to there.

Teddy bear Museum

Once landed Jeju, our 1st stop is 2 see there famous teddy bear museum. Still remember the korean show, "Goong"... Bcos of tat, they have created tis museum, there alot of different bears inside, oso got my favourite "Winnie the Pooh"... Some teddy inside still can move one, but de bears r quite ex, which I think so bah... Ranging frm 5000-20000won oso hav. After tat, we stay 1 nite at de Hyatt Hotel.

Abalone Porridge

This is my breakfast on the 2nd day @ Jeju Island...

Frm morning 2 noon, we went 4 sightseeing at Jeju, n our last stop b4 lunch is we go to tis small village where de "Da Chang Jin" took one of there scene there... De old people are still staying there. They are famous for producing honey, all natural n good 4 health...

Lunch!!! BBQ pork...

Finally is lunch-time... 2day we r gg 2 hav our 1st BBQ food... Tis is like a buffet style BBQ, we can take watever side dishes u like, n as much meat as u like, but provided u hav 2 finished it without wasting de food. Tis was awesome, de 4 of us hav almost 3 or 4 big plates of pork... We had it as thot there is no tomorrow... HAHA!!!

Mountain Climbing... Burning fats!!!

After all these sinful meal, we r bring 2 climb mountain. This mountain is called de "Seongsan ilchulbong", also known as de "Jin San Shun Mountain"... But we oso managed 2 finished it ard an hr, n reached the submit 2 see the brilliant scenery...

Last supper at Jeju Island!!!

Tis is de last nite at Jeju, we will be flying back 2 Seoul tmr morning... B4 we go back, we went outside 4 a stroll at nite... Weather was quite cooling, juz like aircon environment... We bought some supper on de way back 2 hotel... We try de Macdonald, price are abt de same as Spore, but they hav pork burger there, which we dun in Spore... I oso try out their "Rice cake" called de "Tteokbokki"

Back 2 Seoul...

When we r back, we continue our shopping, eating n sightseeing everyday... On de 5th day, we went to the Everland... However, tis is a saturday, there4 there is many parents n children ard... All games are full of people queneing up... We onli managed 2 play a few games... But as it gets darker, de weather is turning colder n colder...

Sunbi Town!!!

After Everland, we rushed our way to Sunbi Town... Tis town is built as those people of century are living there... There are houses are veri old, but lucky de toilet is rebuild for tourists, so is still quite advance... We had our 1 nite stay over... They oso show us the customs of how people married last time... We oso try make "Machi" there... Hehe!!!

Grapes plucking!!!

On de way back, we went to de farm to pluck some fresh grapes n @ de same time look at how korean grow ginseng... They hav tis myth tat, when growing ginsengs, onli guys/men r alone to enter... If a woman/girl went in, the ginsengs will turn bad n take long time to grow...

Ski Resort...

Altot we went on de Fall season, but de weather is still quite cold at ski resort... Tis is de place where the "Winter Sonata" took place... De weather there @ nite are ard 6degC... We will almost frozen once we alight frm de bus... Heee!!!

Stairway to heaven

Tis is de last nite 4 us in korea... I believe those who loves korean show will know abt de show "Stairway to heaven"... Still remember de male lead own tis empire called the "Lotte world"... Is a funland + hotel resort... I was having tis opportunity 2 take de merry-go-round thingy @ korea. Experience wat the actor n actress was gg thru... HAAAA...

Kimchi Making!!!

Finally is de last day @ korea... We will be taking de late afternoon flight back 2 Spore soon... But b4 boarding de plane, we will taken 2 tis gallery where we will learn how 2 make traditional kimchi n how to wear korean costume... We can oso buy those ready made n air vaccum kimchi back 2 spore...
